
In 2008 she developed another strand to her work embedding patterned and decorative flock paper into the gesso ground giving an eerie depth to the work. They seem to invoke memories of domestic and more formal interiors and explore Pam's long established interest in the transporting nature of different patterns. These are more intuitive and exploratory in nature and often combine drawing and pattern.
Pam's first degree was in graphics and illustration from Norwich school of art, a Post Graduate Diploma in history of Art and Design at Winchester and she gained an MA in Fine Art at Coventry University In 1996. Since then she has established Potato Town Studios on the Great Tew Estate with her furniture design partner, John Callen and has exhibited regularly.
